Simple wisdom.This book is not about simple wisdom. Though it is wise. This is about an invitation to delving into the real meaning of life. It is about finding passion and purpose, sometimes within the struggles of life. It is about wisdom that is learned. It is about embracing the relationships of life. It truly is an invitation to be authentic. One of my favorite reads.
I thought this would be different, something other than the soul baring story Oriah gives to the reader. This in not New Age, or new thought: It is a revival of the experience of connectedness, heart and soul, we all feel, yet seldom realize. The book is a journey and meditation that will re-connect you to a part of yourself you may not even know you miss ... I will read this book over and over, it will go onto my bookshelf next to Gibran’s “The Prophetâ€.
if this is right for you you will probably be reading this. Though any path out of believing and into knowing is worthwhile, this causes some looking within which is after all, where the entirety of esistence is. No?? Look deeper.
I’m not much of a reader but this book was recommended to me. Quick, easy read. Very enlightening. Defintiely makes you think about things in another perspective.
For those wishing to live a deeper more meaningful life. Amazing writer very discriptive.
